EuroNGO Network EuroNGOs is a vibrant European network dedicated to promoting universal access to sexual and reproductive health and rights worldwide through engaging in key debates shaping development cooperation and other global policies at the European and international level. As a network of non-governmental organizations working on sexual and reproductive health and rights in 22 European countries are collaborating closely with a wide range of partners across the world. They work by convening and networking, generating and sharing information and knowledge, strengthening skills, and promoting collective advocacy actions. In the 2015, Union Women Center participated EuroNGOs conference, titled “Sexual and reproductive health and rights in the post-2015 agenda and beyond: mapping the way forward' was hosted by ”Sex ogPolitikk”– The Norwegian Association for Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights in Oslo. Union Women Center take part in the adoption of the post-2015 development agenda and contributed to the discussion and identified ways in which sexual and reproductive health and rights advocates can work together within the new agenda. In 2016, Union Women Center as a member organization participated EuroNGOs Conference "A Strong Start - Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights in the 2030 Agenda" in Paris, hosted by Le Planning Familial. In the past few years, the SRHR community has heavily engaged in the post-2015 process, which culminated in the adoption of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development in September 2015, with its 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The main aim of this year’s EuroNGOs conference was to ensure that the SRHR community is ready to effectively engage in the implementation, follow-up and review of the SDGs, and strategically use them to advance our advocacy on SRHR in a global perspective. Union Women Center participated in Panels with high-level speakers, interactive discussions and workshops, also took part in UNFPA side-meeting which directed to discuss the status of the ICPD monitoring framework and follow-up process in ECA region. As a member of ASTRA Network participated in the draft solidarity statement with Polish women in regards to the current debate on an abortion.
