The 2nd Annual Commemoration of September 18th World Alliance of Religions’ Peace (WARP)
Summit held in September 17-19, 2016 in Seoul, Republic of Korea.
The Annual Commemoration of September 18th World Alliance of Religions’ Peace (WARP) Summit was an yearly gathering of people of all fields (government leaders, religious leaders, the media as well as representatives from civil society, academia, private sector and woman and youth organizations)from all around the world for the cause of peace.
During this summit, various parallel sessions was organized to address the most pressing challenges that the world is facing in regards to peace and security in which attendees hear from the diverse perspectives of the participants. The Summit aims to impact international policy making processes, enabling the global community to deal with the challenges it faces and ultimately bringing peace to the world. Beside the parallel sessions, there will also be various peace-inspired cultural performances.

Awareness raising among the public about the importance of world peace and security, as well as the important DPCW as an international legally binding document and discussing the ways through which the Declaration of Peace and Cessation of War(DPCW)can be submitted to the UN.
