The ECCA is the European Cervical Cancer Association. The European Cervical Cancer Association (ECCA) was founded in 2002 by 15 different organizations from across Europe, which included cancer charities, cancer treatment centers, university teaching hospitals and health education organizations. The ECCA was established specifically to co-ordinate a Europe-wide public health education program for raising the awareness of cervical cancer and its prevention. The following sections will provide you with more information about the ECCA, its members and its programs. |
|
All members of the ECCA are national organizations directly involved in the provision of cervical cancer screening, education, patient support or research. The members of the ECCA therefore have a wealth of skills and expertise that they can contribute to achieving the goals of the network. In addition we translate the educational materials published by EEC into Georgian language and distribute them among gynaecologists.
We deliver lectures for gynaecologist about new technologies that may change cervical cancer prevention practice in the future. We have provided a summary of two of these, HPV testing and HPV vaccination, in the New technologies section. |
